Simple Meal Ideas

The best meal plans are the ones that are easiest to execute. Let's start with simple lunch/supper ideas. The first thing you need is protein. You could through some frozen chicken breasts in the oven or brown some hamburger depending on what you'll be using it for. Next, lets add a veggie. You can get frozen veggies from the store and throw those in the microwave and BOOM, ready in minutes. Some options could be corn, green beans, broccoli or brussels sprouts. Then we need to add in some carbs. Something I love is a good rice bowl. Grab some minute rice and you have rice ready in no time. Or maybe you want some noodles tonight. Noodles are just as easy to throw in some boiling water. Potatoes are also something great to serve with your protein and veggies to get your carbs in. After you have these three portions of food ready to rock and roll you can mix them or serve them separately. Add a sweet and sour sauce for a diverse feel or just serve them separately on one dish. It's as easy as that if you want to keep it simple. One thing that you will definitely need is pots and pans. The button below will take you to one of my favorite and most affordable options.
